Who's idea was it to camp?

Last night we camped for the first time and possibly the last. We must have passed 10 camp sites up to Sisteron.  But after Sisteron not a one. We ended up going down a winding back road for 6km after seeing a signpost for camping. The good news is that it was open. The bad news is also that it was open. There was no where to eat and toilets that involves standing target practice. There was some difference in the tent success stakes as well. Swanny and Morris gloated over their pop up mansion . Edwards cursed at Go Out Doors for neglecting yo include pegs with his £9.99 tent, fortunately we were in a field full of twigs. Williams was initially proud of his blow up coffin affair but the pride was short lived when he slept P*SS wet through. Well actually there was no sleep involved just agonising back pain from the wafer thin weight saving sleeping mat he had brought. Dinner was served on paper plates. A tin of ravioli mixed with a tin of baked beans and sausage cooked in our fold away kettle. Lovely. Stopped now for an omelet breakfast at the Ideal Resurant.  Sun is shining after last night's snow so let's see what today brings.
